Russell Johns Associates

Russell Johns Associates (RJA), a media sales firm specializing in print advertising across consumer, professional, and newspaper publications, was expanding into digital advertising. They needed a modernized visual identity that signaled this evolution, moving beyond their legacy as a print-only advertising partner.
The Concept
After exploring various concepts, I designed a logomark built from lowercase letterforms "r" and "j", modified with arrow terminals that create a continuous loop. This graphic symbolized RJA's position as the connecting link between publishers and advertisers, with the circular flow representing the ongoing relationships they facilitate.
The modern, geometric mark signaled RJA's evolution into digital while maintaining enough sophistication to work in traditional print media contexts.
