Vology

Network Liquidators, a reseller of used IT equipment based in Clearwater, Florida, was expanding into managed IT services, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity. This business transformation required more than a visual refresh — they needed a complete rebrand starting with a new name that reflected their evolved capabilities.
The Concept
After exploring many naming concepts, "Vology" was selected — a portmanteau of "velocity" and "technology" that communicated both speed and technical expertise while also being unique, meaningful, and ownable.
I designed the logotype incorporating the universal "power on" symbol as dual letters within the wordmark, representing both the "O" and "G" in Vology. This created a mark that was instantly tech-recognizable while feeling modern and streamlined.

National Exposure
In 2014, Vology became a sponsor of the Tampa Bay Rays, leading to prominent placement of the logo on the right outfield wall at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. The mark appeared on national television during Rays game broadcasts, including one memorable appearance behind shortstop Yunel Escobar shortly before a bench-clearing brawl.
